I first learned about HeritageBuilders through the daily radio short "The Family Night Guy" featuring Jim Weidmann. The shorts offer parents creative and often humorous ways to spend time with their children -- on family nights.
In our home, family night is every Friday evening. We spend the evening watching movies, playing Uno, eating popcorn or ice cream and just being together as a family. From time to time, I use one of the "lessons" from the FNG radio spots -- to engage the children; to make them laugh; but most of all to teach them about their heritage and pass on the legacy to them.
