OneMillionDads / OneMillionMoms is an arm of the American Family Association. Let me state up front that AFA is the organization Don Wildmon founded. While I do not agree with all of Mr. Wildmon's tactics nor all of his beliefs, I wholeheartedly believe in OneMillionDads/Moms and the work they do.
Here is the 411 -- OMD/OMM sends out email alerts to members. These emails encourage folks to let major advertisers, televisions networks, politicians and others know about offensive advertising, TV programs and print materials. You can use the form email presented or write your own. I have been a member of OMD for more than a year -- and have seen first hand the impact this organization has had on TV. While the steps have been small, they have been significant. OMD/OMM has been and will be influential in the fight against offensive content -- especially on TV.
